The Problem

Entrance-exam admissions were run on paper, with no way to guarantee grading integrity. Professors needed to grade without seeing who they were grading, and every step of the bureaucratic approval chain needed to be logged and auditable across legally distinct actors (Secretaria, DAAC, Técnico, Subcomissões, Presidência).

Key Features

• ▸Custom-built role/permission system — normalizes Portuguese role names (accents, casing, typos) so roles like "Sub. Correcção" reliably match internally, with partial matching for sub-roles
• ▸Anonymized grading pipeline: professors see only an exam code and grade form, never candidate identity — enforced at the query layer, not just hidden in the UI
• ▸Self-hosted WhatsApp integration (Evolution API) with a custom Angolan phone-number normalizer, delivery tracking, and a retry queue for failed notifications
• ▸Server-generated digital signatures rendered on the fly onto official PDF documents — no stored signature images needed
• ▸Fire-and-forget audit log that records actor, role, IP, and action for every sensitive change, without ever breaking the main request on failure
• ▸Per-route-group rate limiting tuned by risk — public forms at 3-5 req/min, candidature submission at 30/min, internal panels at 1000/min
• ▸Bulk PDF/Excel exports across six dedicated export classes for printed exam-room sheets and grade sheets
